Privacy

Your privacy, in plain words.

Kizunari is about trust, so this page is written to be read — not to hide behind legalese. Here’s what we collect, why, and what we’ll never do. Last updated 1 July 2026.

This is a plain-language summary for the website, not a substitute for the full legal policy. Have it reviewed before launch.

What we collect

The basics you give us — your name, email, and the city you’re in — plus the gatherings you host or join. If you turn it on, approximate location helps us show you what’s nearby. That’s it.

How we use it

To show you relevant hangouts, let hosts and guests recognise each other, keep gatherings safe, and tell you when something’s happening near you. We use it to run Kizunari — nothing more.

What we never do

  • We never sell your data.
  • We never share your exact location with other members.
  • We never post on your behalf or message people without you.

Your controls

You can edit or delete your profile at any time, turn location off, and ask us to remove your data for good. Message us from the contact page and a real person will help.

Cookies

The website sets no tracking or advertising cookies — just a few local values on your device: your theme choice and, once you answer the cookie banner, which kinds of cookies you allow. Nothing is sent anywhere. If we ever add analytics or ads, they will respect the choices you made in the banner, and this page will say so first. To change your mind, use the cookie button in the corner of any page.
