Who we are

Kizunari is run by a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic, named further down this page, who decides what happens to anything you send us here. The contact form reaches the people who actually run it, and a real person answers.

What we collect

Only what you type. Join the waitlist and we store your email address, the language you were reading in, and which page you joined from. Send a message and we store your name, your email address, and the message itself. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address — a scrambled fingerprint we cannot turn back into an address — so one person cannot flood the forms. That is everything. No accounts, no profiles, no location, no tracking.

Why we may do that

You give us your email because you asked to hear from us, so we use it for that alone: to tell you when Kizunari opens near you — the invite, the launch date, or a change of plan. No newsletter, no other marketing, and we never sell it. You can change your mind at any time. We handle a contact message because you asked us something and answering it is the whole point. The hashed fingerprint keeps the forms usable for everyone, which is the only reason we hold it.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries and contact messages are deleted automatically 24 months after they arrive. The abuse-prevention counters expire within a couple of days. Ask us to delete your data sooner and we will, without asking why.

Who else can see it

Cloudflare serves this website and sits in front of our API, so it handles the request your browser makes. Beyond that, what you submit reaches only our own API and the database it writes to, both running on Amazon Web Services in the United States — so your data leaves the EU. Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services both act for us under contract, are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognizes as adequate protection, and are bound by the EU standard contractual clauses as a fallback. We use no analytics service, no advertising network, and no third-party embeds — nothing on this site loads from anywhere else.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent your data, to anyone, for anything.
• We never track you across other websites or build a profile of you.
• We never pass your email to another company so it can market its own things.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent so we stop emailing you. Ask through the contact page and we will act within a month, normally much sooner. If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the Czech data protection authority (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz), which oversees us, or to the one where you live — in Spain, the AEPD (aepd.es).

Cookies and what sits on your device

This website sets no cookies at all — none for tracking, none for advertising, none for us. It stores three things locally in your browser: the light or dark theme you picked, the language you chose, and the cookie choices you made in the banner. All three stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. The Preferences category in Cookie preferences covers settings we would detect for you, such as a time zone — not the theme or language you pick yourself. We store none today; your choice there applies if that ever changes. Submitting a form is the one moment this site sends anything out, and then only what you typed. If we ever add analytics or ads, the choices you saved will be honored and this page will say so before it happens. To change them, use the cookie button in the corner of any page.

When this changes

If we change how any of this works, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change actually affects you, we will say so rather than quietly editing a sentence.
