The rules of this site, plainly.

What these terms cover

They cover this website — the pages you are reading, the waitlist, and the contact form. The Kizunari app is not out yet. When it launches it will come with its own terms written for it, and we will not quietly stretch these to cover it.

Using the site

Read anything here, link to it, quote it. The one thing we ask is that you do not try to break it: no automated traffic heavy enough to degrade the site for other people, no probing for weaknesses without telling us first, and nothing unlawful or abusive through the forms. We rate limit the forms for the same reason, so one person cannot flood them.

The waitlist

Joining reserves nothing and costs nothing. It tells us you want to hear from us, and it means we will email you when there is something real to say — an invite, a launch date, or a change of plan. It is not a purchase, not a contract, and not a guaranteed place in line. We may change how the launch works, delay it, or stop altogether. Ask us through the contact form and we will take your address off the list.

What we promise, and what we don't

Everything on this site describes a product we are still building. Features, cities, dates and screenshots are what we intend today, not what we are bound to ship. We write them honestly and we correct them when they change, but do not make plans that depend on them. The site itself is offered as it is — we cannot promise it will always be up, or always be free of mistakes.

What you send us

Anything you type into the contact form stays yours. Sending it gives us permission to read it, store it, and reply — nothing more. We will not publish it or quote you anywhere without asking you first. Please do not send us anything confidential, and do not send us anything you do not have the right to share. If you send us an idea or a suggestion, we may act on it without owing you anything: we have no way to trace where an idea came from, so we cannot treat unsolicited ones as secret.

What belongs to us

The words, photographs, logo and design on this site are ours or licensed to us, and the Kizunari name and 絆なり mark are ours. Share the site, quote it, and link to it freely. Do not pass it off as your own work, and do not use our name or our mark for a product of your own.

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else, we do not control what is on the other end. Following the link puts you under that site's terms and its privacy policy, not ours.

Where we stand on liability

We are a small team publishing a site about a product we have not launched. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow from using this site or from relying on what it says. Nothing here removes liability that cannot be removed by law — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Which law applies

Kizunari is run from the Czech Republic, so Czech law governs these terms and disputes go to the Czech courts. If you use the site as a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live, and you can bring a claim there instead.

Changes to these terms

These will change as the project does. The date above says when they last changed. If a change matters, we will say so on the site rather than quietly swapping the text. Using the site after that means the new version applies.
